The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on N-facing slope, on lower northern slopes of Claragh Mountain. Circular area (31m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank planted with mature deciduous trees; bank widest (Wth across top 4m) and most substantial (int. H 2.3m; ext. H 1.4m) SE->NNW; low rise atop scarp elsewhere, sloping gently into interior. Entrance (Wth 3m) to SE. Remains of stone facing on inner bank face to SW. Interior raised on N side (H 2m) to compensate for hillslope; dump of rocks near centre.
