The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on break in N-facing slope, on lower northern slope of Claragh mountain. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 2m; ext. H 1m); external fosse (D 0.3m) survives to W. Cattle gaps in bank to NNE and NE; third gap to SSE where field fence joins bank. Interior raised on N side (H 1.8m) and cut into hillside on S side to compensate for hillslope.
