In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Pentagonal area (57.1m N-S; 54.7m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.5m); external fosse (D 0.4m) survives on E, S and W sides; counterscarp bank to S (ext. H 0.6m). Bank to N kinks to form two straight sides; uniform in height and topped by wire fence. Bank to E grass-covered; some stone facing noted along N half of inner bank face; causewayed entrance (Wth 1.6m) to ESE. Bank to S (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.6m) broken to SSE and S; fosse (D 0.7m) partially filled with field clearance stones. Interior slopes down to SE.
