The National Monuments Service's description

Road bridge (Wth 6.48m; long axis N-S) over River Blackwater. Roughly coursed rubble limestone construction. Six semicircular arches with block and start ashlar limestone voussoirs; alternate voussoirs prominent. Ashlar limestone pointed cutwaters added to upstream (W) side only. Flat limestone coping atop parapet wall; some now replaced by concrete. Weir across river, short distance downstream (E) from bridge. Bridge of late-18th/19th-century appearance.
