The National Monuments Service's description
Three-storey mid-18th century brick-built house (Smith 1750, vol. 1, 300). Gable-ended with chimneys on gable ends (see photograph Grove White 1905-25, vol. 4, opp. 48). Entrance front (E) originally 3 bays, but extended by 2-bay at S end; central inserted round-headed door ope, with sidelights and limestone surround; inserted Venetian window overhead. Plate glass sash windows. Rendering peeled away from ground floor exposing blocked brick-arched windows, cut by present lintelled windows. One-storey addition to N; numerous additions to rear. Walled garden adjacent.
