The National Monuments Service's description

Bowman (1934, 231) recorded church site and burial ground (CO031-049002-) on J. Morrissey's land; where 'about one-third of the surrounding fence still stands. The site measures 50 yards by 35, and is in the centre of a field. Grass-covered mounds on the north side indicate the site of church. Two white thorn trees grow on the church-site.' No visible surface trace.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
