The National Monuments Service's description
Listed as a 'levelled circular enclosure' in the SMR (1988) and as a 'circular enclosure' in the RMP (1998). Shown on 1st ed. O.S. map (1842) as a quarry. Known locally as O'Connell's Quarry. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant accepting this as the location of an archaeological monument.
