The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture. Circular, heavily overgrown area (diam. c. 40m) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse and external fosse. Both banks (inner bank: int. H c. 0.4m; ext. H 3m; outer bank: H 2m) heavily overgrown. Intervening fosse, wide and flat bottomed, waterlogged to E and SE; to NNW external fosse (D 0.8m) skirted by remains of low, stone-faced, field boundary. Interior almost totally inaccessible due to cover of whitethorn bushes except at centre.
