The National Monuments Service's description
In level gardens at the rear of houses on Church street, Kanturk. According to local information, there was a lane at the rear of the houses known as 'Chapel lane' which lead up to a church at rear of houses, but there is nothing structural left of the church, which was known as 'St. Marks'. There is a plain stone cross (c. 1ft high) still in someone's house in Kanturk which is reputed to have come from this church.
