The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on N side of road, c. 4km W of Kanturk. Not shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map; shown on 1904 OS 6-inch map as rectangular field (c. 100m E-W; c. 25m N-S) and named 'Union Workhouse Burial Gd.'. Narrow rectangular burial ground enclosed on S side by stone wall with piered entrance gates. Interior uneven and used for grazing animals; only two low grave markers noted. No longer in use.
