In pasture, on S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps; arc of hachured to W possibly shows inner bank on 1904 OS 6-inch map; W portion hachured showing two banks and remainder enclosed by broken line on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; circular area (c. 31m NNE-SSW) defined by low rise (int. H 0.3m) SSW->NNE; intervening fosse; outer bank survives as second low rise (H 0.2m) N->NW; external fosse visible as faint depression N->SSW. According to local information, last remaining portion of ringfort levelled c. 1979. Banks of bivallate circular enclosure visible as shadow site in aerial photograph (CASAP). Recorded by Bowman (1934, 484) as double-ramparted fort (diam. c. 27yd) on D. Hickey's land; 'about one-quarter of each rampart now stands'; fosse c. 14ft wide.
