The National Monuments Service's description
In garden, on S side of house. Circular area (10m E-W; 9.4m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.55m). Extension to house interferes with bank on N side. Ope (Wth 1m) in bank to SSW. Noted by Bowman (1934, 466) as 'Tumulus...levelled...outer fence c. 2ft high, diam. 33ft'.
