The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on N-facing slope. Depicted on 1904 OS 6-inch map as hachured circular area straddling N-S field fence; on 1937 OS 6-inch map field fence removed except where it crosses site. Raised circular area (H 0.5m; diam. c. 9.9m) enclosed by fosse with outer earthen bank (int. H 1.35m; ext. H 0.45m). Breaks in bank to N (Wth 5.2m) and S (Wth 6m). Remains of N-S field fence in interior with shallow drain on either side.
