In centre of graveyard (14623). Ivy-clad ruin of rectangular church (13.4m E-W; 8.5m N-S); only W gable stands to full height, otherwise walls greatly reduced in height. East wall (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 2m) has window embrasure, missing its light, set slightly off-centre; wall to N of window rebuilt. Short return of S wall at SE corner, terminating at what is probable splayed side of window; remainder of wall is reduced to low undulations. Short returns of N wall at E and W ends; remainder low (int. H c. 0.5m) with gap (Wth 5m) near W end. Cut-stone memorial to Ruddocks of Wallstown atop wall near E end; according to Windele (Grove White 1905-25, vol. 4, 308), erected 'within one or two years' of his visit in 1853. West gable survives to full height but featureless; top of gable may be rebuilt. Remains of parish church of Wallstown. Reported 'in ruins' in 1615 (Brady 1863, vol. 2, 403, 395). A church here listed in Papal Taxation of 1291 (ibid.).
