The National Monuments Service's description

Remains of lime kiln built between rock outcropping and against rock face in limestone quarry. Front elevation (H 3.5m) of random-rubble limestone construction, faces N; segmental-arched recess (Wth 2.46m; D 2.4m) full of debris, lower inner arch, sloping slabs at rear. Infilled limestone-lined funnel (diam. c. 2m).
