In pasture, atop hillock. Depicted as hachured nearly circular enclosure (c. 58m N-S; c. 50m E-W) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; enclosure on 1906 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps indicated by solid line; lime kiln shown immediately outside enclosure to NW. Circular area enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.3m); shallow external fosse (D 0.3m) to W. Bank stone faced similar to surrounding field fences. Interior heavily overgrown and inaccessible. Lime kiln (CO017-02501-) survives immediately to NW of site.
