The National Monuments Service's description
South wall of church forms part of N wall of graveyard (14602). Ruin of rectangular church (int. 11.35m E-W; int. 6.1m N-S). East gable survives best at S end (max. H 4.5m), reduced to H 1m at N side. Line of N wall marked by rubble at E end, at W end by low wall (H 1m), lined with rubble internally. South wall survives best to E (max. H 4m), reduced to rubble to W; roughly blocked ope (Wth 2m), c. 1m W of E gable, extends to full height of wall but may be remains of window ope. West gable survives to near full height, but masked by ivy. Remains of parish church of Lackeen. Reported out of use in 1615, in ruins by 1774 (Brady 1863, vol. 2, 299-301).
