The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, in centre of early ecclesiastical enclosure (13886). Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as rectangular graveyard (c. 45m NW-SE; c. 28m SW-NE) defined by broken line; church (14440) S of centre on E-W axis. Roughly trapezoidal area (c. 22m E-W; c. 10m max. N-S) enclosed by stone wall. North wall of enclosure joins E and W gables of church close to S ends; S wall of church forms part of N side. Outside enclosed area, raised area defined by scarped edge (H c. 1m), continuing line of graveyard wall on W side for c. 10m to N, turning E and extending c. 3m outside N and E walls of church, before meeting N wall of graveyard; this is sole visible remains of N half of graveyard as shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map.
