The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on break in slope at foot of NNW-facing slope of Knockafutera (Ballyhoura Mountain range). Roughly circular, slightly raised area (34.15m E-W; 29.2m N-S) enclosed by two earthen banks and intervening fosse; outer fosse (D 0.2m) to SE. Inner bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.05m) planted with mature deciduous trees. Intervening fosse (Wth 2.7m) disturbed by field boundary to NE; waterlogged to W. Outer bank (H 1.2m) levelled to NE. Break in banks to WSW; numerous cattle gaps through banks.
