The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, c. 100m SE of Awbeg River. Circular platform (44m ENE-WSW; 38m SSE-NNW) raised c. 0.6m above surrounding field; enclosed by fosse and outer bank NNW->SW; truncated by railway line SW->NNW. Fosse (D 0.7m; Wth 4m) deepest to NE. Outer bank (H 1.5m) highest to N and S where incorporated into field fence system; grass covered and low to SE. Faint trace of outer fosse to E (max. D 0.6m). Remains of cultivation ridges cross interior on NNW-SSE axis.
