The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture. D-shaped raised area (max. Wth 44m E-W; projecting 32m to S) abuts S side of field boundary. At N end and abutting field boundary is semicircular, slightly raised area (35m E-W; projecting 10m to S) defined by fosse (D 0.5m; Wth 6.3m across top). Interior to S of fosse slopes down to S.
