The National Monuments Service's description
On the N bank of the Shannon estuary adjacent to Bush Island. Described by O’Sullivan (2001, 300-301) as a post medieval ‘large tick-shaped wooden fishtrap in estuarine clays at LWM, c. 30m W of Bush Island 2B. Flood fence oriented NW-SE, 10m long; shore fence oriented N-S, 120m long. The enclosed angle is c. 60 degrees. July 2000.' (O'Sullivan 2001, 200-203, 300-301, Bush Island 2C)
