The National Monuments Service's description
Listed as 'Enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). On inspection in 2000 this was a subcircular, grass- and hazel-covered area (int. dims. 29m WNW-ESE; 26 m NNW-SSE) on a slight shelf towards the bottom of an E-facing slope, defined by a stone spread (Wth 2.8-5.3m; int. H 0.8-1.3m; ext. H 0.3-1m). Facing stones were intermittently visible (original Wth 2m at E). An active quarry c. 100m to the W has since been extended and the monument has been completely removed.
