The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight rise in a low-lying position with higher ground all around. Marked only on the 1921 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 61.2m N-S; 59.5m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.6-0.8m) at the base of the rise (H c. 1.5m) and a fosse or silted drain (Wth 1-2.5m; D 0.1-0.4m), which widens into a pond (dims. c. 10m) at E. There is no visible entrance, and it may be a drainage feature.
