The National Monuments Service's description

On the summit of an E-W ridge in pasture. Hachured as a rath on the 1840 OS 6-inch map an indicated with a single line of hachures on the 1920 (Cassini) edition. The townland boundary between Curraghkeel and Liscullaun curves slightly to respect the site and forms the E perimeter. On inspection in 1999 there were no visible traces at ground level. Faint traces of the NW perimeter are visible as a cropmark on Google Earth (imagery date: 24 March 2017).
