The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight rise in pasture in undulating countryside. Hachured as a ringfort on the 1840 and 1920 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A subcircular area (c. 31m N-S; 29m E-W) defined NE-SSE by a wall with some interior facing stones and with a drystone wall (Wth 0.7m; H 0.6-1m) built on top. Elsewhere a faint scarp defines the perimeter. The townland boundary between Carnaun and Liscullaun curves to respect the site along the E side. The interior slopes slightly to the SE. According to local information the site was levelled prior to 1980.
