The National Monuments Service's description

Near the top of a gentle S-facing slope in improved pasture. Indicated on the OS 25-inch plan (1897) and the Cassini edition (1920) of the OS 6-inch map, and visible on MapGenie Digital (2011-2013) aerial imagery. This levelled subcircular enclosure (int. diams. 48m E-W; 34m N-S; ext. dims. c. 51.5m E-W; 41m N-S) is defined by a band (Wth 2.5m) of relatively dense thistle and nettle growth. The enclosure’s interior is slightly hollow and contains some stones scattered about it. There is another levelled enclosure (CL017-078001-) c. 25m to the N.
