The National Monuments Service's description
On an outcrop which falls away (H c. 2m) just to the NE, on a karst peninsula at the NW shore of Lough George. This poorly preserved rectangular structure (9.15m NE-SW; 4.7m NW-SE) is defined only by its NE (Wth 1.15m) and SW (0.7m) end walls. There are two other possible 16th/17th-century houses adjacent: one (CL017-053002-) c. 25m to the WSW and another (CL017-053----) c. 33m to the SW.
