The National Monuments Service's description

In dense woodland on a S- and SW-facing slope. Hachured on the OS 25-inch plan (1897) and on the Cassini edition (1920) of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This very poorly preserved and overgrown circular cashel (int. diam. 22m N-S) is defined by a scarp (Wth 1.6m; H 0.6m) from W-N-E, and elsewhere by a stony bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.6m), upon which stones are laid horizontally. There is a quarry (CL017-010001-) c. 6m to the SW.
