The National Monuments Service's description

On a high point on an E-W ridge, in rough pastureland, overlooking a ravine c. 50m to the N. This almost circular cairn (dims. 7m E-W; 6m N-S; H 0.5m) was recorded by T. Coffey (SMR file). Loose stone (dims. c. 2m, H 0.5m), largely covered in bushes, visible towards its centre may be field-clearance material that was thrown up on it. A wedge tomb (CL016-132----) is located c. 63m to the SSE.
