The National Monuments Service's description
On an E-W ridge, in a col in the Leamaneh valley. Traversed by the deerpark wall associated with Leamaneh castle (CL016-032002-) which is built on an extension of the same ridge. Listed as ‘enclosure’ in the RMP (1996) and indicated on Robinson’s map of the Burren (1977).
A poorly preserved cashel (19.6m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by remnants of a wall (Wth 1-2m) visible at N and E (H 0.2m) where it is level with the interior. The deerpark wall traverses the monument E-W with most of the enclosure to the N (14.8m N-S) and just 3m (N-S) to the S of the wall. Another enclosure (CL016-035----) is located c. 87m to the SSW.
