The National Monuments Service's description
On a level area in pasture, on a steep S-facing slope; overlooked to the N but otherwise with good views. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘enclosure’ in the RMP (1996).
A subcircular rath (33m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.4m). Due to the sloping nature of the ground, the scarp in the NW and N sectors slopes down into the interior. In the E and S sectors, it slopes down to the field level, giving the impression of a small terrace. Another rath (CL016-119----) is located c. 100m to the ESE.
