The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pastureland on the S-facing slope of Ballyganner Hill, c. 30m to the W of the townland boundary with Ballyclancahill and within a field system (CL009-059001-). This cairn (basal dims. 16.3m N-S; 15.8m E-W; H 1.8-2.2m) is composed of large stones (L c. 0.4m; Wth c. 0.3m; T c. 0.2m) and varies in height with the natural slope of the land. It is flat topped (4.5m N-S; 3m E-W) and overgrown with grass and moss except in the NW sector where there has been some disturbance. Old field banks extend off it at N and SW. A series of old rectangular field boundaries and clearance cairns are visible in the surrounding area.
