The National Monuments Service's description
In the NE corner of a flat field in fertile pasture with good views to the N. Hachured and named ‘Parkalassa Fort’ on all editions of the OS 6-inch maps. On inspection in 1998 a depression (diam. 10m; D 1.5m) in the field level was visible along with some scattered stones and it was noted that the NE corner was overgrown. The overgrown portion as visible on Google Earth (imagery date 25 April 2021) and OSi MapGenie 2013-2018 may contain remains of one quadrant.
