The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on the top of a low ridge aligned ENE-WSW with clear views, overlooked by higher ground to SE. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. A subcircular bivallate rath (64.35m NE-SW; 61m NW-SE) defined by an inner earth and stone bank (int. H 0.35-0.5m; ext. H 1.05-2.7m; Wth 5-5.75m), a fosse (Wth 3-7m) and an outer bank (int. H 0.7-1.7m; ext. H 0.3-0.35m; Wth 1.5-4.25m). There is a causewayed entrance gap at the E (Wth 4.8m). The interior slopes down to the SE with an undulating surface, but there are no visible internal features.
