The National Monuments Service's description

A subcircular rath (30.5m E-W; 26.25m N-S) defined by a low degraded earthen bank largely reduced to a scarp (H 0.9-1.45m; Wth 2m), and a fosse legible as a dense bank of reed growth around the perimeter of the bank and scarp (Wth 2-3m). A lowering of the scarp at the E (L 6m) may indicate an original entrance. The interior is slightly dished and slopes slightly to E. There are no visible internal features. There is a rath (CL015-070001-) c. 30m WSW.
