The National Monuments Service's description

In coarse marshy pasture on the summit of a prominent drumlin in a field of small drumlins c. 125m SE of the Cooleen River with clear views in all directions. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. A bowl barrow (diam. c. 26m) comprising a mound (diam. 8.5m; H 1.55m), a flat-based fosse (Wth 3m; ext. D 0.6m), and a flat-topped outer bank (Wth 5.5m; ext. H c. 2m; int. H 0.6m). The monument is covered in gorse.
