The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise in the middle of the Carran Depression surrounded by areas subject to flooding. An oval platform (c. 40m E-W; c. 20m N-S) defined by a low earthen bank. A contemporary field boundary abuts the W perimeter. Visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSi MapGenie orthophotography (2013-2018). On Google Earth (25 April 2018) another field boundary is visible abutting the NE perimeter. Another enclosure (CL010-309----) lies c. 95m to the SW.
