The National Monuments Service's description
Prominently sited (on the 600’ contour) on a slight hummock in rough pasture commanding wide views, especially to S-W-NNE, but with higher ground to E, and within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL009-84001-). Identified by Tom Coffey and Paul Walsh (SMR file). This small circular cairn (diam. 3m; H 0.7-0.8m) has a slight depression (2.6m E-W; 1.6m N-S; D 0.3-0.4m) at its centre and is ragwort, bird-foot-trefoil and grass covered.
