The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture on a terrace in a steep, W-facing slope. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This subrectangular cashel (int. dims. 11.8m E-W; 11.3m N-S; ext. dims. 21m N-S; 18m E-W) is defined by a wide, grass-covered stony bank (Wth 3.5-6.7m; int. H 0.9-1.1m; ext. H 0.25-1m). Occasional outer wall facing stones (H 0.25-0.45m) survive and two upright slabs at S may be the remains of inner wall facing. There is a hut site (CL010-048003-) c. 31m to the S and a souterrain (CL010-048002-) c. 68m to the SW.
