The National Monuments Service's description
Ua Cróinín and Breen (1997) noted a drystone wall (Wth 1.2m) to the NE of Skaghard tower house (CL010-084002-) which may be on the line of the bawn wall. They calculated that this bawn would have enclosed about a quarter of an acre (c. 1,000 sq. m).
