The National Monuments Service's description

On a low ridge in a lowlying area of scrub surrounded by reclaimed pasture. A field system (c. 550m NE-SW; c. 350m NW-SE) defined by a series of irregular field boundaries adjacent to a concentric enclosure (CL009-059002-) and a cashel (CL010-059003-). On Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSi Aerial Premium (2012-2018) it is evident that field boundaries and enclosures of different dates in this area are superimposed on one another. A fulacht fia (CL010-059004-) is associated with the concentric enclosure. The cashel has a number of houses internally that are depicted as roofed on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map.
