The National Monuments Service's description
In low-lying woodland with limited views. Indicated on both the OS 25-inch plan (1897) and later, Cassini edition (1920) of the OS 6-inch map. This subcircular enclosure (c. 21m E-W; 19m N-S) is defined by a collapsed, randomly coursed, stone wall (Wth 2.6-4.1m; ext. H 1-1.1m). The stone-strewn interior is slightly hollow. Glencolumbkille Castle tower house (CL010-040002-) lies c. 38m to the SSW. There is a possible barrow (CL010-040003-) c. 100m to the SSE.
