The National Monuments Service's description
In low-lying wet pasture, with streams flowing to the S and NE. This fulacht fia comprises an elongated suboval mound (14m N-S; 4.5m E-W; av. H 1m) of partly exposed burnt stone and ash, overgrown by trees, briars, moss and ferns. The mound decreases in height toward the S. Two other fulachta fia lie nearby—one (CL010-037002-) immediately adjacent to the N, and another (CL010-037004-) c. 2m to the W. It appears that fulachta fia (CL010-037002-) and (CL010-037003-) were originally conjoined, but were separated by a later boundary wall. There is a holy well (CL010-038001-) c. 40m to the N.
