The National Monuments Service's description
In the interior of Caherwalsh (CL009-059045-). The grassed-over foundations of a D-shaped structure (int. diam. c. 4m) abutting the S wall of the cashel. Another structure (CL009-277----) lies c. 6m to the E in the corner of the cashel and two similar structures (CL009-274---- and CL009-275----) occupy the NE corner. A number of possible house sites (CL009-059123-, CL009-271----, CL009-272---- and CL009-273----) also lie within the interior of the cashel.
