The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating rough pasture within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). A road/trackway (Wth 3.6-4m), defined on either side by large boulders, meanders roughly N-S through an area of grass-covered field walls and associated monuments for c. 200m before petering out at S. It runs roughly parallel with the modern road. From its northernmost traceable point the road/trackway runs SSW and then SE, with an enclosure (CL009-155001-) situated c. 15m to the E, a house (CL009-204004-) of indeterminate date built along the W side of the road, and a cashel (CL009-204001-) c. 44m to the E. At S the road peters out although it may have continued in a N-S gryke (Wth 1.8-2m). A similarly meandering roadway extends NW into Ballykinvarga passing close by two cashels (CL009-184---- and CL009-059015-) and may be a continuation of the same road.
