The National Monuments Service's description
Part of a Settlement Cluster (CL009-075005-) in level pasture immediately NW of Carran Church (CL009-075001-) and Graveyard (CL009-075002-), overlooking the Poulacarran Valley to the E. This is the most northerly of six houses (CL009-075006- to CL009-075011-) and comprises the foundations of a rectangular structure (ext. dims. 9m E-W; 5.75m N-S; int. dims. 7.7m E-W; 4.45m N-S; H max. 0.7m) aligned ENE-WSW and defined by double-faced walls (Wth 0.55-0.75m) which are collapsed along the S (Wth 2m). There is short internal wall (Wth 0.65m) at N, 1.5m from the NE corner. Another house (CL009-075007-) lies c. 9m to the SE.
