The National Monuments Service's description

Part of a Settlement Cluster (CL009-075005-) in level pasture immediately NW of Carran Church (CL009-075001-) and Graveyard (CL009-075002-) overlooking the Poulacarran Valley to the E.
Running (traceable L c. 40m) from just S of a house (CL009-075007-) in a WNW-ESE direction (parallel with the house's SSW wall). This trackway is defined on either side by a grass-covered earth and stone bank (Wth 1.6m; ext. H 0.6m; int. H 0.2m) and extends ESE until truncated by a farm lane. To the SE of the house (CL009-075007-), the trackway broadens (Wth 2.5-3m) and is defined on the N side by a low scarp. There is a gap (Wth 1.2m) in the trackway's S-bank, just to the W of a tall upright stone (H 1.8m; Wth 0.4m; T 0.2m) oriented NNE-SSW. Some 8.4m to the ESE along this bank is another upright stone (H 1.6m; Wth 0.8m; T 0.2m), oriented NE-SW. There are several quite large stones lying prone on the bank between these two upright stones. A second road/trackway (CL009-075014-) lies to the S.
