The National Monuments Service's description

Within a large enclosure (CL009-264---) on a plateau in rough pasture, at the E edge of a probable doline (diam. c. 40m). Listed as ‘Fulacht fiadh’ in the RMP (1996), following initial identification by Thomas Coffey (SMR file). This subcircular enclosure (int. dims. 12.2m E-W; 11.6m N-S) is defined by a low, grass-covered stone spread (H 0.2-0.7m; Wth 2-3.5m). The stones (diam. c. 0.2-0.25m) are roughly spheroid. From the NE side of the enclosure a grass-covered field wall extends to E (L c. 10m), and then turns to S. Other enclosures (CL009-062---- and CL009-284----) lies c. 25m to the SE and 78m to the ESE also within the large enclosure. A cairn (CL009-265----) lies c. 89m to the NW just outside the large enclosure.
