The National Monuments Service's description

On a fairly level plateau in rough pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Listed as ‘Stone circle (possible)’ in the RMP (1996), following initial identification by Michael MacMahon (1982, 6-7; 1990). This D-shaped enclosure (int. 10.9m E-W) with a straight E side (int. L 10.7m) is defined by a slab wall (Wth 0.5-0.7m; H 0.3-0.6m). The wall is mainly composed of interspersed slabs with their long axes pointing toward the centre of the enclosure. The perimeter is barely traceable at NW. There is a possible entrance gap (Wth 0.7m) at W, immediately to the S of a large stone (L 1.1m; T 0.2-0.3m; H 0.3-0.55m) laid on its side, its long axis along the enclosure’s perimeter. The interior is rather uneven, with karst limestone outcrops. The enclosure appears to be relatively modern.
